Thank you Dan! We had a blast. We will be sure to be seeing you more often.Good luck hunting!   Hunter S.

What you can expect from a guided hunt:
Your guide has been hunting upland birds and waterfowl for many years. And the dogs, mostly
flushing Labradors, some with pointing traits, are from some of the finest stock available. Your guide has been breeding, training and hunting his dogs for generations. The main goal of your guide, and his dogs, is to make your day an experience that you’ll talk about for years to come.
If you are experienced hunters (over dogs) you’ll get some quick instructions on safety and
guidelines, introduced to the dogs and we’ll be off.
Inexperienced hunters or those who have never hunted over dogs will get more indepth instruction on safety, how to hunt over a dog, and pointers on how to make your hunt more successful, and therefore more enjoyable and memorable! Your guide will be eager to pass on his knowledge and experience to you. And his dogs simply want to make you happy!
Safety – Enjoyment – Success. Thats our goal!

Items you should bring: First and foremost, plenty of shells! A backup gun is a good idea. It won’t be any fun if you have a problem with your gun, specially if you’ve driven hours to get here. Our guides generally have theirs with them, just in case. A hunter orange hat is required for everyone and an orange vest is recommended. Your guide will likely have extras that you can borrow. A good pair of waterproof boots and a change of socks are a good idea. The terrain is hilly and could be wet or muddy. Brush pants and brush jacket if you have them, or a good pair of jeans. The cover can be thick and there are some thorns. (There are paths cut through the cover for those that aren’t able to or wish not to hike through the cover.) A water bottle (or two) and a snack. We’ll take a break on the top of the hill for a short rest, and to enjoy the view. Don’t forget your camera! You’ll want to capture the day (and the views) for future enjoyment, and to brag to your friends and hunting buddies!  A cooler is a good idea if you have a long drive. Specially if you plan to bring home a whole bird for mounting.

If you’d like to book a hunt, or inquire about one, use the contact page and enter the details of your request in the “message” box. You will be contacted (via your preferred method) usually within 24 hours. Or (if you wish) you may call or email me directly (phone and email on Contact page).
